Support Open Science while providing your researchers with unlimited APC-free publishing opportunities in Detritus. The Institutional Open Access Agreement enables Universities and Research Institutions to support sustainable Open Access publishing while granting their researchers full APC waivers for publications in Detritus.
Through these agreements, institutions contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, enhance the visibility of their research, and support Detritus in its mission to advance towards a Diamond Open Access publishing model.

Authors affiliated with participating Universities and Research Institutions are eligible for a full APC waiver, allowing an unlimited number of researchers from the institution to publish in Detritus without article processing charges.
The annual contribution for the Institutional Open Access Agreement is:
- €1,000 + VAT for new participating Universities and Research Institutions.
- €700 + VAT for Founding Institutional Partners, only for the first renewal occurring after 31 July 2026.
This represents a cost-effective investment in sustainable Open Access publishing, enabling institutions to provide their researchers with unlimited publication opportunities in Detritus through a single annual contribution.
