Flora Faleschini is Associate Professor of Structural Analysis and Design at the University of Padova, where she is also the vice-Head of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering. Laurea M.Sc., “magna cum laude”, in Environmental Engineering, University of Padova, Italy (2011). Ph.D. in “Civil and Environmental Engineering Sciences”, University of Padova, Italy (2015). Among others, she holds the course of “Recycling and Reuse of Raw Materials” and “Life cycle design for sustainable structures”. Her research aim is reducing the carbon footprint of construction industry through the valorization of waste and by-products in sustainable cement and concretes, favoring concrete carbon uptake and introducing additive manufacturing processes for construction realization. She is author of more than 150 papers, with 4250 citations and H index = 41 (Scopus, July 2026).
