The editorials of Detritus constitute one of the most representative expressions of the journal’s scientific and cultural identity. They present contributions differing in methodological approach, terminology, and perspective, authored by recognized experts not only in the field of environmental sanitary engineering but also in disciplines such as Medicine, Law, Sociology, Philosophy, and Pharmacology. Together, they reflect the journal’s strongly multidisciplinary orientation, an essential prerequisite for effectively and responsibly addressing the challenges associated with the Circular Economy and the sustainable management of residues.
