Wei Peng

Wei Peng currently serves as an Associate Professor in the College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University. In March 2019, he obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Padova in Italy. His research activities focus on bio-waste treatment and biorefinery. Particularly his current research interests include bioplastic management, waste characterization and pollutant identification by using spectroscopic techniques. Prof. Peng has led 8 research projects and has published more than 20 academic papers in journals such as Microbiome and ES&T.
