Alberto Pivato is a Researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy. His main fields of interest are ecotoxicology, waste management, environmental impact assessment, risk analysis and remediation of contaminated sites. Since 2016 he has moved his research interests to anaerobic digestion. He is member of the Task Group on Waste Biorefinery of the International Waste Working Group (IWWG).
